Beijing On May 26, TOTO organized a green planting and picking activity in a tree-planting base in Huairou District, Beijing. At the tree planting base, TOTO employees and their families learned the key points in planting trees and planted ginkgo trees. According to the staff of the planting base, ginkgo tree is an ideal species for landscaping, windbreak as well as one of the four ornamental tree species with longevity. In addition to ornament use, the fruit of the tree is edible. Planting such a useful plant makes participating adults, including children, particularly active. Everyone of them hung a TOTO heart wish card full of wishes on the tree they planted, hoping to continue their own dedication and good wishes. Shanghai On May 29, focusing on the concept "cherish limited resources and energy to protect the earth's environment", TOTO organized a blueberry tree planting activity in Shanghai Wushe Farm. The enterprise's employees along with their families and friends took an active part in the activity. Children planted saplings with the help of their parents and hung green wish cards with their own hands in the hope of the thriving of the saplings! In addition, children also experience the fun of "painting at a hat" by drawing vivid and lovely images on straw hats. Guangzhou On June 26, TOTO came to the Maofeng Mountain Forest Park located in the northeast of Guangzhou City to carry out health, green environmental protection team action. Wearing the TOTO GREEN CHALLENGE T-shirt uniformly and gloves and taking garbage bags, they climbed the mountain and picked up the garbage along the way. The road of mountain climbing which was once unbearably hot became easy with their happy laughters and cheerful voices during the environmental protection action. For a long time, TOTO GREEN CHALLENGE have been regarding environment protection by cherishing the earth's limited resources as the foremost social responsibility, hoping that all staff are able to respond to this concept and engage themselves in each environment protection activity with enthusiasm to contribute their own effort to the society. TOTO also hopes that the long-term activities will affect more people, especially children, to cultivate their awareness of protecting environment and nature.
